Austin City Limits Music Festival begins this weekend and I am so excited! This is my third year attending the festival and I will be there all day today for the Saturday – weekend one lineup. Music festivals are so much fun especially when you get to dress up in a festival ensemble Here is my outfit for some inspiration and a few tips to use to help you survive ACL. ??
I saw this Texas-inspired top on Instagram and instantly feel in love with it. Everything from the cactus ? to the cowboy hat and the sheriff badge is so cute. This top goes perfectly with these super comfortable denim shorts and black booties.
The weather in Austin can be unpredictable, so make sure you dress comfortably and ready for anything. I have been to ACL Fest when it is pouring rain and super muddy to dry and blazing hot. That is why I dressed for both. ?
Tips for Austin City Limits:
> Activate your wristband and sign up for ACL Cashless. You will be able to pay for food, drinks, and more with the tap of your wrist. This is a super easy step that will save you time! ?
> In your purse, fanny pack or backpack, make sure to pack essentials such as sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, toilet paper, wet wipes, a portable phone charger, lip balm, and a reusable water bottle. These are just a few things I recommend and trust me, you will need each of these items at some point. ??
> When you arrive at the festival, make sure to take a paper map. This map includes a copy of the lineup, locations of each stage, porta potty spots, and much more. ?
> Dress comfortably! I cannot stress this enough. Wear shoes that will allow you to walk a lot, jump, dance, and stand for long periods of time. ??
> Lastly, for emergencies, always carry cash. You might not need it at the festival, but it will be useful for paying a pedicab to get home or grabbing a bite to eat at the end of the night. ?
